Rainbow Popcorn

I absolutely love the rainbow popcorn! My family really enjoys the crunch of this batch. I get this every time and will continue to do so!

I have now purchased and tried several Amish Country varieties of popcorn and this is a nice, fun treat that my kids enjoy. HOWEVER, I knocked off a star because this mixture contains the XL Caramel variety, which I did not like when I used it to make caramel popcorn balls. I found the XL kernel to be on par with store bought organic popcorn in flavor and texture but the XL failed my requirements as it provided TONS of hulls AND lots of hard bits of kernel that stuck to many of the popped kernels and I couldn't filter them out of my finished popcorn ball like I can unpopped seeds. They are ok though in this Rainbow mix but don't add anything special. My personal favorite is the Baby White, which offers superior texture and flavor to all other Amish Country varieties that I've tried.

These kernels aren't just pretty to look at, they taste great too! A nice blend of varying sizes and textures, aside from the colors.
