Red Popcorn

Our Red variety pops into a healthy, crunchy snack. This variety has fewer hulls and medium sized kernels. Like our other “colorful” varieties, Red popcorn has a unique taste and pairs well with our seasonings.

While our uniquely-colored varieties(Midnight Blue, RedPurpleBlue, Rainbow) have a colored kernel, they will be white or yellow once popped. For popped popcorn to be colored, the kernels need to be dyed beforehand, and we do not use dyes or preservatives.

    My favorite popcorn ever

Posted by Kelly on Feb 28th 2022

Ever since I tried the red popcorn from Amish Country Popcorn, nothing else compares! I always have a 25 pound bag at home. The perfect flavor and texture cooked on the stove top with coconut oil and a little salt! I love it!

    Best There Is

Posted by Alex on Feb 11th 2021

Highly recommend. The Red and the Purple are our favorites. They both pop medium size with great earthy flavors, you literally don’t even need salt, butter etc. It has its own taste and that’s a good thing, tastes fresh and much better than the store brands. We will be buying this for many many decades to come. Except next time 6 lb bags. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.

    Red Popcorn!!

Posted by cynthia l barnard on Apr 28th 2020

I just received my 6 pound bag actually it was 5 lbs. 14 oz., just a little short. However the popcorn is outstanding and I’m getting ready to order another couple of 6 pound bags to give us gifts to my family during this crazy pandemic time. Eating a lot of popcorn as it’s so nutritious but this is the best I’ve had in my whole life. As I get older I have to worry about the holes and cracking my teeth on the old maids, not gonna happen with this popcorn—Hooray!

Smaller funky popped corn, but love that there are very few hulls. The taste is also very good. Never knew there was a difference in taste of popcorn and how good I’d could be (even unsalted/buttered/not cooked in oil) till I met Amish Country.

    Much Better than Blue

Posted by A Brown on Sep 30th 2018

After reading the other less than stellar reviews I find their reviews what I would say about the Blue. I liked this Red just fine but will defer to the Purple from now on. Very Good, good pop, few hulls remaining and great flavor. Add Flavacol to any popcorn and it's awesome!
