My wife is a popcorn gourmet. This is her favorite. She pops it slow, by letting the seeds "simmer" in hot oil on low until they can't stand it any more and start popping. Then she turns it up high to finish it. Result is a nutty, roasted flavor added to an already wonderful popcorn. If you like "Black Jewel," you may just like this one better. We order it 18 lbs (3 x 6lb bags) at a time. Excellent.
Pops completely, great taste, and since bc everything pops, its a great value too! Rainbow Ladyfinger is my absolute favorite, but Midnight Blue is the a very close second in my opinion. You will not be disappointed!
Midnight Blue popcorn is quite simply the best popcorn I've ever eaten. As a popcorn aficionado who owns three different types of popcorn poppers, as well as a good old fashioned pot on the stove, I truly enjoy popcorn. Blue Midnight popcorn is a little bit more expensive than the other varieties but it's well worth the few extra cents. I cook it in canola oil wit truffle salt & top it with butter for a heavenly batch of popcorn.
This was my first time ordering this particular popcorn. I was pleasantly surprised!!! The kernels pop small but are very crunchy. I really love it! Of course, I could go to the supermarket and get bagged popcorn for cheaper, but for only a little bit more, I get popcorn I absolutely love. I will continue to order from this company. Their popcorn is the best!!!
BEST POPCORN EVER... try all of them and pick your favorite ,, or try.. We cannot .. so many are good.. I give as gifts to my dentist , stylist and friends .. They LOVE them!!
I knew before ordering that this was described as "small". I would actually call it "petite". The popcorn itself tastes just fine. It is so small that it does not work well in an air popper. It just doesn't have enough size to come out of the shoot. I found that it just sat in the popping chamber spinning which caused so many of the kernels to not pop. What I did get tasted fine, but I would suggest this for those who pop their corn on a stove top and not an air popper.
The blue midnight popcorn is the best ever. We have tired about 6 of the different popcorns, but the midnight blue is are very favorite. We like little kernels, and there is a lot of crunch, so if that is what you like as well, I highly recommend trying this particular popcorn
Midnight Blue hulless popcorn is addictive. It pops out light and then has a slight crunch which sets it apart from other popcorn offerings.
