Medium White Hulless Popcorn

I have been looking for top notch popcorn for a long time. When I came across Amish Country Popcorn I was hoping my search was over. Sadly the search continues. I wish I could give this popcorn a better rating but in all honesty a two star rating is a bit high. ‘Old Maids’ was the first let down. Just about 1/4 of the kernels didn’t pop. I used my popping machine from Great Northern as I usually do. As far as ‘Hulless’ goes, every jar of O.R. popcorn I ever bought had fewer hulls. Even the no brand bags are at least as good if not better. Finally, the ‘Buttery Topping’ was a disaster. The buttery flavor is weak so you have to put a couple Tbsps on the popcorn to get the flavor right. But then the popcorn is an oily mess. The only good thing I can say is the Ballpark Style Popcorn Salt, extra buttery, was really good. I have 3 more packages of different popcorn to try and I hope I can find a good one.

I have tried all varieties of the hullless and they are all winners. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent taste and the microwave bowl we got from Amish Country worked great, with not a single burnt kernel. My husband has a more discerning palate than me, and he enjoyed it very much.

This is the perfect popcorn. White is SO much better than yellow. It is very tender, crisp and tasty. I pop it in a combination of canola and olive oil and I love the flavor.
