Spice Up the Fall Season!
Oct 10th 2023
It’s that time of the year again! The time of the year that the sweaters come out of the back of the closets, the leaves start to change and show us once again how vibrant they can be, and everyone stays inside with their families a little bit extra.
The feeling of fall is like no other. Fall is synonymous with coziness. A cozy oversized sweater that is more comfortable than anything else in your closet. A cozy cup of hot chocolate that warms up your insides while your favorite sweater warms up your outsides. Most of all, fall means it’s time to get a thick cozy blanket and curl up by a cozy fire watching the same movie that you watch every year around this time. While you watch your movie, you always need to make sure that you have the perfect snack, and that’s where we come in!
We think that popcorn is the perfect fall snack; let us tell you why. Taking a bite of fluffy, crunchy popcorn offers all of the same comforting sounds and feelings as stepping on a crunch pile of leaves. In the fall, eating popcorn isn't just about the taste; it's about indulging in a sensory journey that celebrates the coziness, flavors, and traditions of the season.
While we love all the stereotypes of fall, we think it might be fun to spice it up this year, and no we don’t mean pumpkin spice! With all of the sweet indulgent treats, like pumpkin rolls, apple pie, hot chocolate, and pumpkin spice lattes, the perfect snack to complement them is Firecracker Corn, a spicy, easy-to-make popcorn that will indulge all of your senses. Make a bowl of this popcorn with a kick, sit back, and enjoy this beautiful season. Check out this recipe to learn how to make it. (adapted from highlandsranchfoodie.com)
