Our Extra-Large Caramel Type Popcorn is the second-largest variety here at Amish Country Popcorn. It offers a mild and neutral flavor, making it the perfect base for incredible flavor combinations to be added. Its large size and crispy texture are the reasons it is perfect for our caramel, chocolate, and cinnamon glazes. It generally has a thinner hull, which contributes to tender popped popcorn.

Popping Tips
For best results, the Extra-Large Caramel Type popcorn should be popped at a higher temperature. It is delicious with a sweet, thick coating of caramel or chocolate, but it is also delicious with butter and seasonings as well.

While our uniquely-colored popcorn kernel varieties (Midnight Blue, Red, Purple, Blue, Rainbow) have a colored kernel, they will be white or yellow once popped. For popped popcorn to be colored, the kernels need to be dyed beforehand, and we do not use dyes or preservatives.
