Stainless Steel Whirley Pop Popper

Disappointed.
Spits hot grease out the events and onto your hand while cranking.
Does not crank smoothly.
Very difficult to get the popped corn all out... also the side of the top that is supposed to stay latched doesn't, causing popped corn to spill everywhere (stove top, floor, countertop)

I could see many improvementsThe pot is thin stainless which was poorly made for the lip.

The lid is ultra thin and flimsy.
For me this is worth no more than $25 due to the poor craftsmanship & quality.

It gets the job done and otherwise works great.

My wife and I have been on a hunt for great affordable quality popcorn poppers. We order popcorn from Amish Country Popcorn by the pounds. We read the reviews regarding this popper and thought we could get a dedicated popcorn popper without chemicals to use since we eat popcorn almost everyday (We LOVE the popcorn by the way). Well unfortunately on our first use the popcorn burned. The stirrer did not work. After attempting to shift the kernels manually, all the kernels burned. We are returning it.

Love the popper however, I am curious. In the past we had two Aluminum poppers and the inside arms that move the kernels are above the corn. They do not move kernels until the popping begins. The aluminum ones were lower and moved the kernels before the popping begins.

Love this new way of popping popcorn! To me at least!! Turns out so crunchy!
