Stainless Steel Whirley Pop Popper

Works great!

Bad gearing. We had very high expectations of the Whirley Pop Popper but sadly the quality of the gearing on the lid does not meet it. We expected it to be butter smooth but instead it catches on every turn. Alex has been helpful — sort of — but I would it requires me fidgeting with the lid. Buy at your own risk.

Visiting my son, he had one and I tried it out. Loved it and bought it right away. Great results.

I have had whirley poppers in the past and never a problem. I bought a new one last year because mine was worn out. I am not sure if this is a new design, but the two pieces that are connected, the handle and the pan turner is always coming apart! I called the company to complain and they told me I need to hold the handle and pull the inside turner down and they will click in to place, I have to do this EVERYTiME I make popcorn and it sucks! First it is difficult to do and second why should I have to. They need a better constructed popper. Save your money and use a heavy duty stove top pan!

I had an aluminum popper for years and decided to upgrade to stainless steel. The Whirley Pop Poppers are the best! They make the best pop corn!
