From a Small Farm to Popcorn Loved Around the World
Every tradition has a beginning.
For Amish Country Popcorn, that beginning started in 1965 when Roy Lehman planted a small plot of popcorn in Berne, Indiana, for his six-year-old son, Brian. What started as a small family project quickly grew into something much bigger as Brian continued growing and sharing popcorn with family, friends, and his community.
What began as a simple love for growing popcorn eventually became Amish Country Popcorn—a company built around quality kernels, family values, and the belief that great popcorn brings people together.
Today, that same passion continues through every bag, bottle, and kernel that leaves the farm.

At Amish Country Popcorn, quality starts in the field.
Much of our popcorn is grown on our own farm, with additional popcorn sourced from local farmers who share the same commitment to quality. After harvest, every batch is cleaned, processed, and sorted to ensure each variety delivers the taste and texture our customers expect.
From classic favorites like Baby Yellow and Baby White to unique varieties like Red, Blue, Rainbow, and Mushroom Popcorn, each kernel has its own story to tell.
